Out of Tolerance Reporting Rules:
  • If an out of tolerance value is submitted into measurements a report will be created automatically detailing what tracked dimension(s) went out of tolerance and by how much. That report is considered incomplete and a notification will appear until the "Why" is filled out or the count is set to zero.
  • Only set the count to zero if the report was created incorrectly due to an entry error.
  • Multiple reports can be created on the same line.
Untracked Dimensions:
  • In most jobs not all dimensions are tracked.
  • Untracked dimensions in the out of tolerance reports are a way to add those dimensions and keep records on them when they go bad.
  • Report the bad parts on the part count nearest to the part count where they were found to be bad. It does not mean that the part you are reporting on is considered bad.
  • If all these reports are filled out correctly, they can be copied in to RealTrac and satisfy your NC reporting requirements.
Creating reports:
  • As mentioned reports will be created automatically when a tracked dimension is bad.
  • To create a report:
    • click the plus button on a measurement row
    • in the drop down rows to the right you will see the text "Create Out of Tolerance Report" followed by a button that says "Report," click on that
    • a window will open
    • check all the dimensions that you know to be wrong
    • add new untracked dimensions/features as you need to to fill out the reports correctly
    • fill out the what and why
    • click submit
Buttons:
  • Both buttons show reports in order of when they were created from most recent to oldest.
  • This button shows all the OOT reports from now to 12:00 a.m. this morning.
